  • I discovered some fluid puddled on the asphalt beneath my '05 Trailblazer recently. Prior to that I noticed a check gauges warning light on the instrument panel. When I did check my gauges I was surprised to notice the water temp gauge was quite hot. I discovered the overflow tank was empty. I had some coolant in my garage so I filled the tank. It was after I had filled the tank that I discovered the leakage in my driveway. After driving the car I watched the temp gauge and I spotted additional fluid beneath the Trailblazer. Presuming I had a leak I brought it into Champion Chevrolet. The tech discovered that my water pump was leaking and might also benefit from a primary belt. With the water pump replacement there was a need for a radiator flush. It was not an inexpensive repair but hopefully I won't have to replace the pump or the belt again anytime soon. Read More >>
